"Refreshing" is the word most used to describe the music of WIND, a music group from the U.S. Consisting mainly of Nori & Barbie Kelley, but often adding additional musicians, this concert will also feature their daughters Lizzie & Cynthea, drummer Joe Pfau from Alabama and guest bassist Yoshi Tanaka. Nori Kelley began playing professionally when he was 14 years old, and is a songwriter, studio musician, producer, multi-instrumentalist and guitar teacher. He has released two instructional projects worldwide, as well as producing 5 cds in Japan. His wife Barbie is a vocalist, flutist, songwriter, studio musician and flute teacher. Together as WIND Nori & Barbie have released 8 albums since 1993. Their daughter, Lizzie, is featured on the NHK television program "Kokokoza," which airs every Tuesday at 3:00pm on NHK channel 3. Both she and her sister, Cynthea, play music in a band at "The Fuse Jesus Community" in Machida. This concert will also feature Nori's longtime friend Joe Pfau on drums, who will be visiting Japan during that time. Joe played on Nori's very first album "Spring Rain" in 1979. Also featured will be good friend and guest musician Yoshi Tanaka of Noborito playing bass.
